Kleurgecodeerde voedingssondes zijn weer terug op de veterinaire markt!

Colour-coded feeding tubes are back on the veterinary market!

Have you missed them too – the colour-coded feeding tubes for use with small animals? Dispovet is now launching the perfect alternative: Vet’s Choice feeding tubes.

After production of the well-known Rüsch feeding tubes was halted in 2018 due to significantly stricter regulations for human use, a gap also emerged in the veterinary market.

Dispovet is now introducing a new range of feeding tubes within its well-known Vet’s Choice range that meet all veterinary requirements. The 50-centimetre-long feeding tubes are made from strong, flexible, transparent PVC and feature a closed, atraumatic tip with two lateral eyes. This allows the tube to be easily inserted into the oesophagus without damaging surrounding structures and reduces the risk of blockages or vacuum suction.

The Vet’s Choice feeding tubes have diameters ranging from 1.7 to 3.3 millimetres and are fitted with a secure Luer connector. The connectors feature the familiar colour-coding corresponding to the four sizes, allowing you to see at a glance which tube to use. The feeding tubes are supplied individually, are sterile-packed and can also be used as urinary catheters.
